Job Summary
Lead and support geotechnical engineering projects from planning through design and construction, including subsurface investigations, foundation design, and slope stability analysis. Conduct analyses for shallow and deep foundations, earth retention systems, and geotechnical modeling for seepage and pile behavior. Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and construction documents while ensuring deliverables meet regulatory requirements and company quality standards. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and collaborate across disciplines to support complex infrastructure and environmental projects. Assist with client engagement and business development to expand service offerings. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- 6+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (CT, MA, or RI), or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven experience delivering geotechnical services
- Strong experience with geotechnical modeling and analysis tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and geotechnical software
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Project management and supervisory experience
