Job Summary
Senior Geotechnical Engineer to perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, earthworks, slope stability, seepage, lateral pressures, and construction observation; conduct geotechnical earthquake engineering analyses including hazard, site response, seismic deformation, soil-structure interaction, liquefaction, and lateral spreading; plan and execute subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical instrumentation installation, monitoring, and interpretation; design geotechnical elements with the senior team for public and private infrastructure and building projects; manage projects, resources, and staff; prepare reports and submittals; assist with proposal development; develop client relationships and participate in local professional communities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience with emphasis on design and analysis, field investigation, and construction supervision
- Licensed Professional Engineer (CA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-based work
- Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., Slide, Slope/W, Shake, DeepSoil) and site exploration/engineering
