Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct geotechnical and civil engineering services across residential, commercial, municipal, and federal clients by investigating, assessing, and monitoring site ground conditions. Manage project coordination, client engagement, and engineering evaluations for shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, and pavement sections. Prepare signed and sealed final submittals as Engineer of Record and oversee construction monitoring for earthworks, drilled shafts, and vibration systems. Interpret laboratory testing data, supervise subcontractors, and contribute to business development through proposal preparation and industry workshops. Lead multi-discipline design projects for USACE and NAVFAC while managing relationships with local and key federal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant field of study
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
- 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience including deep foundation inspections
- Proven technical delivery as Engineer of Record
- Proven project management experience
- Proven client portfolio development, management and retention experience
- Geotechnical laboratory testing data interpretation experience (consolidation, triaxial, etc.)
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time both locally and regionally with some overnight travel
Desired Qualifications
- ability and willingness to obtain additional state licensure
- QA/QC construction oversight experience
