Job Summary
Senior Geotechnical Engineer needed to lead site investigations, foundation design, earthworks and slope stability projects for infrastructure, mining, and energy clients across New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. Responsibilities include directing field programs, delivering innovative geotechnical solutions, building client relationships, leading proposals and budgets, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating across disciplines. Requires a Bachelor's in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (Master’s/PhD asset), P.Eng. with APEGNB (or eligible), 8–15+ years of consulting experience, strong communication, and proficiency with geotechnical software (RocScience, GeoStudio, Plaxis, Leapfrog). English required; French preferred; willing to travel up to 35% and possess a valid driver's license; Canadian work permit or citizenship. Hybrid work arrangements available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (Master’s or Ph.D is an asset)
- P.Eng. with APEGNB (or eligible)
- 8–15+ years of consulting experience in geotechnical or geological engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff
- Fluency in English; French preferred
- Experience with geotechnical software (RocScience, GeoStudio, Plaxis, Leapfrog)
- Ability to travel up to 35% locally/remote locations
- Canadian work permit or citizenship
