Job Summary
Braun Intertec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects, develop and execute scopes, review engineering work, perform engineering analyses, and provide geotechnical recommendations. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior staff, managing project teams, and ensuring compliance with corporate practices, health, and safety policies. Candidates must have a BS in civil or geotechnical engineering and PE Certification, with a preference for a MS degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience. Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to solve complex problems, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Requires BS in civil or geotechnical engineering
- Requires PE Certification
- 9+ years’ experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
Desired Qualifications
- MS in geotechnical engineering or structural engineering preferred
- Ability to qualify professional opinions and recommendations of less experienced engineers
- Ability to delegate and develop direct reports
- Ability to develop and progress multiple positive client relationships
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
