Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary
Lead and organize geotechnical work for team members while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Promote geotechnical investigations and assessments for diverse projects, including characterization and analysis of excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, foundations, stability, and settlement. Develop detailed geotechnical designs and calculations, applying expertise in soil improvement, seismic design, and offshore geotechnical design. Collaborate with teams across different geographies to deliver outstanding results on high-profile international and local projects within Domestic Transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mining Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Advanced user of geotechnical software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, ROCSCIENCE software or GEO5
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
