Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer

Job Summary
Manage and oversee geotechnical investigations, developing subsurface programs using test borings, cone penetrometers, and geophysical surveys. Perform engineering analysis for foundation systems, slope stability, and retaining structures while preparing construction documents, reports, and cost estimates. Conduct on-site inspections during construction and lead responses to requests for qualifications and proposals. Assist in marketing efforts to grow the geotechnical practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania. This role supports high-profile projects across highways, bridges, aviation, and water markets for clients including ODOT and PennDOT.
Required Qualifications
- MS degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience working on Federal, State, County and local projects including ODOT and PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer certification preferred.
- Proficiency in MicroStation/CADD preferred.
