Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to lead the Ore Control geology team at Bald Mountain Mine. This role involves guiding team development, validating geological data, managing the mining drilling program, and collaborating on material routing strategies for optimization. Candidates should have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of geology, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in geology or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in mining operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in geologic or related sciences
- Minimum of 5 years’ mine experience in geologic
- Strong technical skills in geology
- Strong geologic, geotechnical, and structural mapping skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with mining software, preferably Vulcan
- Knowledge of Access, Acquire, and OrePro 3D
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Requires valid driver’s license
