Job Summary
Senior Geologist leading complex hydrogeological projects within BLE's Hydrogeological Services Department. Responsibilities include providing leadership, mentoring junior staff, managing groundwater compliance at landfill facilities, preparing and reviewing regulatory and technical reports (ASD, ACM, CAP, HAR), developing and updating hydrogeologic and geologic evaluation templates, and acting as a liaison with state and federal environmental agencies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in geology or related field, 10 years of senior-level experience with 5+ years managing projects, and Professional Geologist credentials; travel regionally is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in geology, or civil/environmental engineering, environmental science or related field.
- 10 years of senior level experience with 5+ years direct experience managing projects, supervising and mentoring staff, preparation and review of technical proposals, regulatory agency interactions and negotiations, and providing QA/QC of deliverables.
- Professional Geologist (PG) credentials.
