Job Summary

Conduct field data collection and analysis of soil, water, and materials for environmental assessments. Compile geographic information using GPS equipment and prepare maps with GIS software. Develop plans, technical reports, and permit applications while coordinating with government agencies on regulatory requirements. Deliver presentations at public forums, conferences, and client meetings. Maintain proficiency with environmental regulations for transportation and civil works projects. Requires Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, 4+ years of experience, and Professional Geologist License. Includes limited travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Geology
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in consulting or regulatory environment
  • Ability to obtain Professional Geologist License
  • Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work in variable conditions, including uneven ground and access to remote sites
  • Strong team player with effective internal & external communication skills
  • Experience with ArcView/ArcPro
