Job Summary
Senior Gas Power Heavy Duty - Infrastructure Project Manager leads end-to-end execution of mega and complex gas power projects (mega/non-turnkey and product/equipment-only) within GE Vernova’s Gas Power business. Responsible for full project lifecycle from contract signing through completion, with P&L accountability, budget adherence, and cross-functional coordination of customers, partners, contractors, and vendors. Develops execution strategies in partnership with the ITO Commercial Manager, manages risks and opportunities, drives safety and lean practices, and leads teams across engineering, manufacturing, and project roles. Requires up to 40% travel, strong leadership in a matrix organization, and ability to influence senior stakeholders; emphasizes safety, cost/delivery/performance trade-offs, and delivering customer-focused project outcomes. Relocation assistance provided; remote work option in the United States; salary range $132,200–$220,400 with discretionary bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or related
- Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously
- Experience working with and influencing senior level leaders
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, business and financial acumen
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages
- Inclusive leadership style and ability to gain buy-in from matrix functions
- Experience applying data and lean tools for strategic, operational and project efficiencies
