Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for GE Vernova's Heavy Duty Gas Power projects, leading end-to-end execution of mega and complex projects, owning P&L, and driving safety, quality, schedule, and cost with cross-functional teams. Role emphasizes customer engagement, stakeholder management, contract reviews, risk management, and adherence to safety and operational policies. Requires Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in project management within energy/construction, willingness to travel up to 40%, and Ability to work remotely with a US-based role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience within Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments
- Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time
- GE Vernova will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently
- Experience applying data and lean tools and technologies for strategic, operational and project efficiencies
- Demonstrated strong customer focus and the ability to foster strong relationships; Experience working with and influencing senior level leaders
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, business and financial acumen
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages
- An inclusive style and strong interpersonal and leaderships skills at all levels to gain acceptance and buy in from other matrix functions to accomplish goals
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface at all organizational levels
