Job Summary
Senior Gameplay Animator on Splinter Cell at Ubisoft Toronto responsible for creating third-person player and NPC animations, processing motion capture data, producing high-quality keyframe animations, and integrating animations with the game engine. You will develop solutions for locomotion, navigation, combat behaviors, and scripted moments, fine-tune animation data with precision, export and integrate animations with guidance from Technical Director and designers, test and iterate in-game, and own the final quality of animated features. Collaboration with fellow animators, the Animation Director, programmers, and designers to deliver features on time and at the expected quality, with a strong focus on visual quality, technical constraints, and teamwork. Familiarity with MotionBuilder is a plus; experience on a shipped AAA title is an asset. The role is full-time in Toronto, Canada, with an annual base salary range of CAD 85,000 to CAD 120,000, to be determined after interview.”,
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience creating gameplay animations for video games
- Proven experience in 3C animation and third-person animation systems
- Strong expertise in motion capture data processing
- Familiarity with MotionBuilder is a plus
- Experience working on a shipped AAA title is an asset
