Job Summary

Senior Gameplay Animator (First-Person) at Ubisoft Montreal responsible for creating first-person character animations and animation systems, including keyframed main character animations, processing motion capture data, exporting into the game engine, and testing/iterating in-game. Collaborates with the Animation Director, designers, programmers, and other animators to deliver high-quality FPS gameplay animations on time. Requires strong experience in gameplay animation for video games, expertise in FPS and 3C animation, motion capture data processing, and a solid understanding of technical constraints related to game engine integration. MotionBuilder familiarity is a plus; experience on a shipped AAA title is an asset. Portfolio and CV are requested. The role emphasizes owning the final in-game feel of animations and working within a multidisciplinary team to meet artistic and technical visions.
