Job Summary
Senior Game Developer with strong Unity/C# expertise to work on Helix Jump Live Studio. Role focuses on improving core gameplay, controls, physics, feedback, pacing, difficulty, animations, VFX, and overall polish; writing robust, scalable Unity code; optimizing performance across devices; monitoring loading time, frame rate, memory usage, crashes, and ANRs; collaborating with Product and Art; and enabling fast iteration through analytics, A/B testing and technical event tracking. Join a small, lean, ambitious team focused on evolving Helix Jump beyond hypercasual into hybrid-casual/casual live gameplay. Requirements include 5+ years of professional game development, Unity/C#, mobile F2P experience, strong Unity UI/physics/animation/particles/tweens, mobile performance optimization, analytics experience, and good English communication. Nice to have: CI/CD, physics-based or highly game-feel-driven games, improving an existing live game, and experience in small autonomous teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional game development experience
- Strong experience with Unity/C#
- Solid mobile F2P experience, ideally in hybrid-casual, casual, or midcore games
- Strong knowledge of Unity UI, physics, animation, particle systems, transitions, and tweens
- Good understanding of mobile performance optimization, profiling, memory, loading times, crashes, and ANRs
- Experience working with product teams on fast iterations, analytics, and A/B testing
- A strong sense of game feel, polish, simplicity, and player experience
- Good communication skills in English
- Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Nice to have: Experience with physics-based or highly game-feel-driven games
- Nice to have: Experience improving an existing live game
- Nice to have: Experience working in small, autonomous teams
- Nice to have: Proactive, resourceful, self-disciplined, open to feedback, and motivated by measurable product impact
