Job Summary
Design innovative gameplay for high-quality casino games across multiple platforms, balancing creativity with data-driven KPIs like retention and monetization. Own end-to-end feature development from concept to launch, writing structured GDDs while navigating regulatory constraints and tight deadlines. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product leaders to contribute to key technical and creative decisions that shape the Sportradar iGaming portfolio. Manage ambiguity in early-stage concepts and drive cross-functional alignment with commercial goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in game design
- preferably with iGaming, real-money gaming
- Proven track record of shipped titles
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, player motivation, and engagement loops
- Experience working with KPIs (retention, monetization, LTV, conversion)
- Solid knowledge of RTP, volatility models, and math-driven design principles
- Experience writing clear and structured GDDs
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives
- Available for office days (hybrid model, four days a week in office)
- Located in or willing to relocate to Vienna
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing live betting products, slot games or live casino products
- Familiarity with regulated markets and certification processes
- Experience with A/B testing and live game optimization
- Basic understanding of game engines (e.g. pixi.js, 2D engine)
- Passion for Sports industry
