Senior FX TD - Short Term Remote Contract

Senior FX TD for a short-term remote contract, open to remote candidates with potential longer-term opportunities at the Sydney studio. Responsible for building high-quality particle, pyro, fluid, cloth, fur and hair simulations in Houdini for top feature films, collaborating with Build, Layout and Animation teams. Must have 6+ years of high-end feature film VFX experience, expertise in photoreal effects (smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, explosions), live-action FX experience, extensive Houdini knowledge, familiarity with pipeline challenges, and node-based compositing (Nuke preferred). Proficiency in Maya, Python, Hscript or Mel, and Linux/Unix is desirable. Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to work under production deadlines in a remote capacity.
