Job Summary
Provide expert consultation to customers, investors, and purchasing advisors on innovative furniture design solutions that align with business objectives and spatial requirements. Drive sales growth through proactive networking, relationship building, and identifying new business opportunities while developing comprehensive proposals and financial analyses. Lead global project coordination from concept through installation, collaborating with logistics teams, external contractors, and internal fit-out departments. Support the management and development of a five-person team, fostering collaboration and operational excellence. Monitor furniture installations to ensure quality standards and design integrity. Requires 7+ years in the furniture industry, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a valid UK driving license. Based in London with regular UK travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in the furniture industry
- Proven track record in professional furniture distribution and specification
- Demonstrated expertise in design with comprehensive understanding of 360° space planning and workplace layouts
- Strong commercial acumen with focus on business development and customer satisfaction
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative team player with proven ability to work across departments and with external partners
- Dynamic, flexible approach with ability to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong command of English language, both written and verbal
- Valid UK driving license
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the UK region regularly
