Job Summary
Senior Funder responsible for daily funding of loan originations in a fast-paced environment. Validate required loan conditions and supporting documentation prior to funding, verify accuracy of closing documents, ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to facilitate timely fundings. Execute and distribute loan origination fundings and construction draw disbursements, balance funding figures, prepare and authorize funding wires, and maintain audit trails. Maintain accurate funding logs and records and ensure adherence to lending policies and fraud prevention standards. This on-site role requires high attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to deliver funded loan packages for post-closing review or investor delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in private lending, preferably in funding or closing
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of loan documents and closing process
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
