Job Summary
Conduct daily portfolio administration for managed funds, private equity funds, and listed investment companies, including accurate unit pricing, GAV/NAV production, and cash reconciliation. Manage trade settlement, corporate actions, and broker/custodian liaison while preparing periodic reports for fund managers and asset consultants. Support client onboarding, implement system improvements, and monitor post-trade compliance and risk controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offshore counterparts to ensure accurate monthly deliverables and audit readiness. This role sits within MUFG Corporate Markets, requiring 3+ years of registry experience in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years registry experience in a custody, fund administrator or fund manager environment within a high volume, client focused working environment
- Tertiary degree in relevant field such as Finance, Accounting or Commerce
- Strong technical knowledge in financial markets including investment products, markets and securities
- Process expert knowledge in the investment process and trading instruments across various asset classes
- Comprehensive understanding of performance measurement, attribution analysis, and risk assessment models for evaluating investment outcomes
- Excellent written & verbal communication to engage with people at all levels of the organisation and build strong relationships and trust with clients and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organization skill - ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail – ensures accuracy and efficiency of daily tasks and high personal standards in all work areas
- Takes ownership and pride of quality of work delivered to ensure exceptional client focussed approach
