Job Summary
Senior Fund Accounting Manager responsible for maintaining books and records for pooled private investment funds organized as limited partnerships or separate accounts; perform/oversee complex management fee and waterfall calculations; record and reconcile cash, investments, and balance sheet accounts; process purchase/sale transactions and accounting for complex corporate actions; estimate and post accruals; prepare/review income/expense allocations and distribution waterfall updates; produce monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports; analyze performance metrics for partnerships/accounts; coordinate with funds’ independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators; other related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years accounting or audit experience in Big Four or investment management
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
- Understanding of investment company accounting rules
- Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency
- CPA a plus
