Job Summary

Senior Fund Accountant responsible for the accounting and administration of SMA vehicles; perform booking and reconciliation of transactions across internal systems; coordinate with trades, brokers, and service providers to resolve cash, position, and market value breaks; reconcile month-end NAV reporting from fund administrator; design and review complex management, incentive, and co-investment allocation models; prepare and review year-end financial statements and tax work papers; coordinate with auditors and fund administrator on year-end audits; develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures; participate in special projects (new products, system upgrades, process improvements) to gain exposure to other finance groups.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • CPA a plus
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and accounting systems
  • Experience with Advent Geneva, Arcesium, and Duco software a plus, but not required
