Senior Fund Accountant

Job Summary
Senior Fund Accountant to own fund accounting outcomes across multiple clients and fund structures. Deliver monthly management reports, NAV calculations, unit pricing and fund financials; support client onboarding; maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations; assist with audit preparation and collaborate with external advisors. Contribute to compliance-related fund accounting obligations, communicate with clients, and work with fund administration, operations and product teams to improve workflows. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, templates, and reporting standards while helping to build scalable fund accounting practices as GXE grows. Over time, mentor junior accountants or graduates as the team expands.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years’ experience in fund accounting
- strong experience preparing monthly management reports,NAV calculations, unit pricing and fund financials
- experience supporting audits and working with external advisors
- strong Excel capability
- experience using Xero or similar accounting platforms
- strong client communication skills
- excellent organisational skills
- process improvement mindset
- CA or CPA qualification, or progress towards one, would be highly regarded
