Job Summary
Senior Fund Accountant at Carta to support Fund Administration for venture capital/private markets. Responsibilities include handling capital calls, audit/tax support, pre/post close services, quarterly and annual financials, and LP communications; collaborate with product, engineering, go-to-market, and operations to enhance Fund Administration software and services; leverage real-time IRR, real-time portfolio data, TVPI and RVPI data; apply knowledge of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Limited Partnership Agreements to deliver accurate financial reporting and client service; participate in cross-functional initiatives to turn services into software-enabled solutions and drive client success in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience interpreting and understanding Limited Partnership Agreements
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Understanding of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Fund Administration
- Ability to multitask to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders in a timely, appropriate manner
