Job Summary
Senior Fund Accountant responsible for assisting the team manager in overseeing a fund accounting team, supervising daily/monthly/quarterly NAV production and operations; delivering accurate, timely accounting services aligned with client needs; ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements; conducting internal audits of compliance; and coaching a team of fund accountants. The role emphasizes stakeholder management and quality control, with a focus on maintaining service excellence and supporting career development within a hybrid work setup in Hong Kong.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or relevant Finance discipline
- At least 4 to 5 years accounting experience gained from banking, investment houses and accounting firms performing various roles such as bookkeeping and general accounting operations
- Fund accounting experience from Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity funds (advantage)
- Ability to train and coach a team of fund accountants
- Experience with third party audit requirements for financial reporting
- Proficiency in English, Chinese and Mandarin (spoken and written)
