Job Summary
Senior Functional Business Analyst embedded in a banking-focused delivery role, translating complex core banking workflows into precise functional specifications, test scenarios, and business requirements across modules (accounts, payments, lending, GL, regulatory reporting). Acts as the functional SME bridging business stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to UAT planning, audit readiness, and regression testing while collaborating with QA automation using UiPath Test Cloud/Manager. The role emphasizes deep knowledge of FIS core banking platforms and related systems (Arthur, Jack Henry, Archer), Agile delivery, and potential for hybrid work in Hyderabad, India.
Required Qualifications
- FIS proficiency is mandatory—hands-on experience designing (requirements gathering), configuring, implementing, or supporting FIS core banking products (e.g., FIS Modern Banking Platform, FIS Horizon, HORIZON, FIS Profile, or equivalent)
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with a strong focus on core banking systems, financial services technology, or banking operations transformation
- Demonstrable experience in functional test case design and authoring — structured test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices for banking workflows
- Demonstrable ability to author comprehensive functional documentation with full traceability for business and technical audiences
- Working knowledge of additional core banking platforms such as Arthur, Jack Henry (Silverlake, Core Director), Archer, or comparable systems
- Deep understanding of retail and commercial banking processes: account management, payments, lending, GL, regulatory reporting, and customer lifecycle
- Experience operating within Agile frameworks, acting as the translation layer between executive stakeholders and technical delivery pods
- Familiarity with data migration concepts, core-to-core conversion methodologies, and system integration patterns in a banking context
- Nice to have:Experience with intelligent automation in banking contexts — RPA (UiPath), workflow automation, or AI-driven process improvement
- Hands-on experience with Testing platforms (UiPath, Tosca, Selenium...)
