Job Summary
Senior Functional Analyst to support the further development of risk management systems in a cross-functional team; serves as the interface between IT development and specialist departments, acting as a competence center for risk modules; involved in defining and conceptualizing requirements and coordinating corresponding implementation steps; supports the product owner in prioritization and development of risk systems and agile methods; conducts user acceptance tests/feature tests in cooperation with specialist departments; emphasizes collaboration, exchange, and empowerment within a diverse international team; requires a degree in a related field, several years of experience, knowledge of SAS/R/SQL/Python, Power BI, and experience in energy or financial mathematics/risk management, with German and English language proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Completed studies as (business) computer scientist (f/m/d), (business) engineer (f/m/d), (business) mathematician (f/m/d) or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in the required range of tasks
- Knowledge of the database environment and/or statistics programs (SAS, R, SQL) / Python
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Reporting Tools
- Experience in the energy industry or financial mathematics/risk management is a benefit, as well as project management skills
- Agile mindset and hands-on-mentality
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
