Senior Function System Validation Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct functional system validation testing for cooking appliances using internally generated procedures and product specifications. Generate functional system test logs from standard templates and record discrepancies in issue tracking software. Provide technical expertise to software engineers to prepare test and validation plans, including support for flashing electronics controls. Analyze test results to suggest improvements to systems, specifications, and consumer use cases. Mentor junior engineers, coach laboratory staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for laboratory efficiency and automation. Lead complex validation projects, manage resource planning, and recommend equipment investments.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced technical knowledge of electronic Lab in home appliances
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to manage stressful situations under workload peaks
- Exhibit appropriate professional behavior including positive attitude, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, creative thinking, and personal integrity to achieve department/corporate goals and objectives
- Team spirit and communication skills, share information with group
- Sense of urgency, timely delivery of test reports is fundamental to overall project timing
- Communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing
- Five (5) years of hands-on experience with Electronics in a Lab environment
- Previous experience serving as a technical lead, project lead, or laboratory coordinator
- Experience managing external laboratories, suppliers, or certification activities
- Knowledge of laboratory operation excellence, Lean principles, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated track record of building technical competencies and training team members
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced technical knowledge of Lab Digitalization is preferred
- Bachelor's in Electronics engineering is preferred
