Senior Fullstack Engineer - PHP/Symfony

Job Summary
Senior Fullstack Engineer to develop and maintain the Validaide platform backend, own and improve services to ensure operational excellence, collaborate with QA and product teams, write clean, documented code, maintain automated tests (PHPUnit, Behat), create technical documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11) for a global pharmaceutical logistics context. The role involves building scalable, secure software in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment, with exposure to PHP, Symfony, MySQL, frontend tech (Twig, Vue.js, jQuery), CI/CD (Jenkins), automation (Behat), and potential growth into new technologies, while operating in a remote-friendly, multinational team.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong PHP and Symfony skills
- Solid MySQL knowledge
- Experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (Twig, Vue.js, vanilla JS, jQuery)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and deployment tools (Ansible)
- Behat and PHPUnit for test automation
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Ability to create and update technical documentation
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11)
- Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, React.js)
- Open to long-term growth with the team
- Comfortable working in English and collaborating across teams
