Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Engineer for Product Engineering. You’ll build and maintain products that enable customers to manage their business payments, interact with back-end services and front-end interfaces, and work with technologies like AWS Lambda, Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MySQL. You will contribute across the stack, from REST APIs to user interfaces, collaborating with partners and internal teams to iterate quickly, integrate with external partners (e.g., Capital One and Shopify), and ensure high uptime and reliability. Expect to participate in code reviews, feature implementations, bug fixes, and continuous improvement of the codebase and deployment processes. The role sits on the Partnerships Integration team, focusing on delivering seamless integrations and tooling to support Melio’s B2B payments platform.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with frontend and backend development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the React framework
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js, Typescript
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, Lambda, and cloud architecture
- A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products
- Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies
- Proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product and our customers
