Job Summary
Design and implement scalable, resilient features using TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, and GraphQL while conducting code reviews and pair programming to ensure quality. Manage out-of-hours technical support rotations and maintain observability via DataDog and Grafana. Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, focusing on software development metrics to drive continuous improvement. Leverage AWS cloud technologies to support a cutting-edge platform central to our mission of revolutionizing prepaid payments for millions of customers globally.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with products that impact millions of customers across the world
- Proven experience in TypeScript
- Proven experience in Next.js
- Proven experience in NestJS
- A strong foundation in continuous integration and deployment practices
- Experience setting up CI/CD processes, specifically GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as: Jest, Playwright, Cypress
- A commitment to high-quality code
- Experience driving successful technical and business related initiatives that improved productivity, performance and quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage in technical discussions at all levels
- Contribution with innovative ideas
- Advanced web development with TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS and GraphQL
- Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- Experience conducting code reviews and pair programming
- Ability to participate in the support rota for out-of-hours technical assistance
- Experience focusing on software development metrics
- Experience continuously seeking improvement
