Job Summary
Architect, develop, and optimize full-stack applications using Java, React, and modern web technologies. Lead design and implementation of scalable microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions on AWS, while managing containerization with Docker and Kubernetes. Build robust backend services, optimize database performance with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, and ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and testing. Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, design patterns, and scalable architectures, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies within a remote-first, agile environment focused on software supply chain security.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a focus on scalable web applications
- Deep experience with backend development using Java
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React)
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms -AWS and serverless computing
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and software supply chain security principles
