Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the design and development of internal and customer-facing software systems across underwriting, claims, finance, and compliance. You will own major projects from architecture through deployment and ongoing maintenance, build backend services, APIs, and scalable infrastructure, and collaborate with leadership, product, and operations teams to automate complex workflows. You’ll mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, shape the future direction of the engineering organization, and work with senior leadership and core operators to deliver high-ownership, high-impact software in a London-based office.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Senior/leadership experience in software engineering desired
- Experience with Typescript, Python, React, FastAPI, Django, Flask, AWS
- Strong background in distributed systems and scalable applications
- Experience owning production systems and making architectural decisions
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, and modern development practices
- Experience mentoring engineers and shaping engineering direction
- Fintech, insurance, or workflow automation experience helpful but not required
