Job Summary
Engineer new application features and associated data processing systems while designing scalable, efficient storage and retrieval solutions. Write maintainable, test-driven code across the full stack, leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases within Linux-based environments. Collaborate in an agile, distributed team to build market surveillance and monitoring software for financial service providers. Apply strong mathematical skills in statistics or machine learning to solve complex problems, ensuring clean, efficient code with a keen attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- at least two years full stack software development experience
- SCRUM and agile practice knowledge
- keen interest in and an appreciation of financial markets
- Expert-level experience in building web applications
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Linux-based development/deployment experience
- Math background, example: working knowledge of statistics or machine learning
- Performance, ops, systems, and/or network experience
