Senior Full Stack Laravel / VueJS Engineer

Job Summary
Lead the core development team by defining challenges, building new features, and improving system performance through direct collaboration with support, sales, and management. Guide junior developers and new team members while ensuring features are completed timely and adhere to best practices. Strategically drive technology decisions, prioritize innovative solutions for speed and security, and implement ideas with banking partners to solve hard technical problems. Manage the full lifecycle of large-scale SaaS projects, including multi-tenancy, third-party integrations, and API work, while applying DevOps processes for production deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Native Level proficiency (English or Afrikaans)
- Minimum of 6 + years working with various web technologies
- Minimum of 4 + years as a team & technical lead on a large-scale SaaS solution
- Experience developing full-stack solutions where you were responsible or involved in the A-Z of the project
- DevOps experience - deploying and maintaining production-level applications
- Experience with multi-tenancy (SaaS) applications
- Interest or experience in finances (FinTech) and accounting
- Very good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Interest or experience in the property industry (PropTech)
- Experience building & maintaining third-party integrations and working with APIs
- Experience leading a team and mentoring junior developers
