Job Summary
Hands-on coding of product features with consistent code and design reviews. Analyze and collaborate on technical solutions to provide optimum strategies for clients, strictly adhering to Citi's engineering standards. Consult with users and technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions and assist with customer exposure systems. Define operating standards and processes while operating with limited direct supervision. Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts. Contribute to high- and low-level system design, including sequence and class diagrams, while applying Agile/Scrum methodology.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on coding of product features
- Perform code & design reviews consistently

- Strictly follow Citi's engineering standards
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups
- Recommend advanced programming solutions
- Install and assist customer exposure systems
- Ensure essential procedures are followed
- Help define operating standards and processes
- Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in JAVA/J2EE spring boot
- Expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in REST APIs
- Expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in spring framework stack
- Deep understanding of Microservice and its best practices, patterns
- Strong MS SQL experience
- Experience in SCMs like GIT
- Experience with tools like JIRA
- Experience of applying OOPs concepts and producing highly modular and quality code
- Ability to contribute in high- and low-level system design
- Strong systems analysis, design and architecture fundamentals
- Unit Testing and other SDLC activities
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development role
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated technology leadership and management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to articulate effectively with business and other stakeholders
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Must have deep understanding of Microservice and its best practices, patterns is highly preferred
