Job Summary
Senior full-stack engineer to design, implement, and scale Wunderkind Advertising platform across backend services, APIs, and frontend surfaces; responsibilities include building ad placements and triggers (overlay takeovers, mastheads, in-feed, gallery / milestone units, slider placements, progress bars, ad refresh, and multi-campaign activation), integrating SSP demand sources, improving OpenRTB-based auction flows, and evolving advertiser / publisher tooling and reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering with practical frontend product development and fluency in ad-tech concepts, including supply/demand flows, OpenRTB, SSP integrations, and telemetry-driven visibility. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining full-stack capabilities across backend and frontend, implementing supply-side features, supporting advertiser/publisher workflows, contributing to demand-side integrations and optimization, shaping architecture for latency-sensitive systems, and ensuring production readiness through monitoring and incident response.

- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or similar, with experience building production APIs, services, and integrations
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend development, ideally with React and TypeScript, including experience building product configuration or operational interfaces

- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, production debugging, observability, and performance considerations
- Ability to reason about ad-tech concepts such as supply and demand flows, SSP integrations, OpenRTB, VAST, impression / click tracking, privacy signals, and latency-sensitive request paths
- Experience working with telemetry, analytics, or event streams to power reporting and operational visibility
- Comfort working across the full delivery lifecycle: discovery, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the judgment to make pragmatic trade-offs in ambiguous environments
- Ability to work independently and autonomously without requiring constant supervision
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the Ads, CTV, SSP, DSP, OEM, or broader ad-tech space is a strong asset
- Familiarity with OpenRTB, VAST, impression / click tracking, privacy signals, and creative rendering workflows
- Experience building configurable campaign, placement, segmentation, or rules-based product capabilities
- Experience with advertiser reporting, publisher tooling, dashboards, or bulk-edit / operations interfaces
- Experience with Kubernetes, service-oriented architectures, queues / streams, or observability tooling
- Exposure to video, image, or creative-processing pipelines, including asset packaging or transformation flows
