Job Summary
Build and scale backend services using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript while architecting systems for AI agent workflows and real-time processing pipelines. Design PostgreSQL database models to optimize query performance and manage AWS infrastructure for distributed workflows orchestrated with Temporal. Develop React frontend applications for operations teams and create intuitive human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that improve transparency. Work directly with founders and customers to rapidly ship high-impact features, owning systems end-to-end from architecture through production deployment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments
- Deep expertise with TypeScript and React
- Strong frontend architecture and state management experience
- Strong backend engineering experience using Python
- Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL database design experience
- Experience building and operating production systems at scale
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable shipping quickly and making pragmatic engineering trade-offs
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally in ambiguous environments
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
- Comfortable working onsite full-time
