Job Summary
Lead end-to-end feature development from concept through production deployment, building secure, scalable backend services with Symfony and maintaining React-based frontend features. Drive architecture and technical design decisions while mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, improve CI/CD pipelines, and continuously enhance performance, security, and scalability. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to contribute to roadmap planning and technical estimation. Join the core product team of a fast-growing healthcare SaaS company transforming practice management across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a Senior Software Engineer role
- Strong PHP and Symfony expertise
- Deep knowledge of Doctrine ORM
- Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Strong MySQL database design and optimization skills
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Solid React.js experience
- Docker experience
- GitLab CI/CD experience
- Strong understanding of backend and frontend security
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Based within the European Union
