Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Engineer at Pearpop to design, develop, and optimize the creator-platform, owning full development lifecycle, building RESTful APIs and microservices, integrating front-end and back-end systems, and implementing secure, data-driven features. Collaborate with product, design, talent, and marketing; mentor a small engineering team; drive architectural decisions. Requires deep expertise in Node.js, React, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS); focus on performance, security, and scalable infrastructure; contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code; passionate about the creator economy and startup culture.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in full-stack development
- 5+ years back-end (Node.js) experience
- 5+ years front-end (React or similar) experience
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORMs like Sequelize
- Strong Git/GitHub proficiency
- Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
- Containerization (Docker)
- CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Security and data protection experience (authentication systems e.g., Gravitee, OAuth)
- Front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Passion for creator economy and social/internet culture
