Job Summary
Develop and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database, and system architecture while owning feature delivery from design through production. Design and implement integrations with payroll, billing, HR, and third-party enterprise systems, balancing scalability, performance, and business priorities. Collaborate directly with clients and remote team members to gather requirements and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate productivity. This opportunity is ideal for a highly autonomous engineer in a fast-paced startup environment working on digital transformation projects for a global marketing and communications network.
Required Qualifications
- Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, React, Vue, or Angular), and relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Proven experience designing APIs, integrations, authentication, webhooks, and enterprise system connections
- Solid SQL expertise, including schema design, database optimization, migrations, and performance tuning
- Demonstrated ownership of features from requirements through production, including architecture and technical decision-making
- Experience writing automated tests, debugging, and supporting production applications in startup or small-team environments
- Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English
- Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder collaboration
