Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy first-pass applications and services powered by the HawkAI Engine, translating complex machine learning models and real-time data pipelines into responsive APIs and high-performance visualization interfaces. Bridge the gap between ML engineering and product delivery by defining credible first versions, making high-leverage architectural choices, and integrating modern AI-assisted development tools while retaining strict oversight on software architecture and data integrity. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of early-stage applications, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, CI/CD deployment with Docker and GitHub Actions, and 2D sports data streaming with minimal latency. This build-from-zero role focuses on turning 0 to 1 product opportunities for instant replays and broadcast augmentation, working directly with ML engineers to prove out new product features.
Required Qualifications
- Broad hands-on experience moving fluidly across backend, frontend, and deployment
- Specifically with Java
- TypeScript
- React
- Node.js
- Python
- Modern responsive web technologies (HTML5/CSS3)
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and deploying end-to-end cloud solutions on AWS infrastructure
- Proven capability deploying production-ready CI/CD pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions
- Experience streaming, processing, and visualizing dynamic data using 2D rendering engine tools
- Experience building APIs and microservices that integrate directly with ML models
- The ability to write high-quality, testable, and maintainable code that accounts for edge cases
