Senior Full Stack Engineer - Front end focused

Job Summary
Senior frontend / UI engineer to define and build the user-facing foundation of SafetyChain’s next-gen platform. You will design and build rich, high-performance user interfaces in a modern TypeScript-based frontend stack, own frontend architecture decisions around state management, data fetching, caching, offline behavior, and UI composition, and evolve shared UI primitives and a design system that scales across teams. You’ll translate complex domain workflows (manufacturing, quality, compliance, operations) into clear, usable interfaces, partner with Product, Design, Backend, and AI/ML teams, and leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining UI performance and accessibility for enterprise users. You will contribute to an office-first culture focused on high-bandwidth problem solving and shared ownership, with hybrid in-office collaboration in a Dallas–Fort Worth area context. This role emphasizes frontend craft, architecture, and collaboration in a senior, enterprise SaaS environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years building modern, production-grade web applications (enterprise SaaS strongly preferred)
- Deep experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of frontend state, async data flows, caching strategies, and UI performance
- Experience building interfaces that support complex workflows, dense data, and power users
- Comfort working in a monorepo or shared codebase with strong engineering conventions
- Ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment with in-office time when high-context work benefits the team
- Experience building or contributing to design systems, shared components, or UI platforms
- Strong intuition for UX tradeoffs, interaction design, and usability
- Experience supporting multiple form factors (web, tablet, desktop) and operational environments
- Familiarity with accessibility, performance profiling, and browser/runtime constraints
- Experience integrating AI-powered features into user-facing products
- Bonus: Exposure to backend APIs and API contracts
- Bonus: Experience in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, or other operational SaaS domains
