Job Summary
Senior AI-first Full Stack Engineer responsible for designing and building AI-heavy, end-to-end features using Node.js and Next.js. You will develop AI-native product experiences, manage self-hosted LLM infrastructure, experiment with open-source and commercial models, optimize inference performance and cost, and build AI orchestration layers and intelligent workflows. You’ll evaluate models for specific use cases, integrate automation with real-world operational data, and collaborate with product and engineering leadership on long-term platform strategy. This role emphasizes building the core platform architecture with AI at the center, not just adding AI on top of existing apps. Requirements include strong Node.js/TypeScript and Next.js skills, experience with LLMs and RAG pipelines, familiarity with self-hosted/open-source models (Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen), understanding of GPU workloads and delivery tradeoffs, and a passion for scalable, maintainable, high-performance systems. Bonus points for Kubernetes, vector databases, AI copilots, autonomous workflows, and model fine-tuning. Required Qualifications
- Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong Node.js and TypeScript experience
- Proficiency in Next.js and modern frontend architecture
- Full-stack ownership with end-to-end feature delivery
- Experience with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, or AI agents
- Knowledge of self-hosted/open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen)
- Understanding of GPU workloads, inference optimization, and AI infrastructure tradeoffs
- Experience comparing model quality, latency, and operational cost
- Strong emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Ability to move fast without creating chaos
- Curiosity about future directions of software engineering
- Bonus: Kubernetes/cloud-native infra, vector databases, AI copilots, autonomous workflows, fine-tuning/evaluating models
- Interest in Open-source LLM ecosystems and AI infrastructure
