Senior Full Stack Engineer - Agentic Industrial Emissions Platform (React and Go)

Job Summary
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable APIs, services, and accessibility-first user interfaces for the Industrial AI emissions platform. Drive modernization of legacy systems into modular, event-driven, API-first components while delivering AI-native features across front-end and back-end using GoLang and React. Provide technical direction on scalability, maintainability, and performance, owning reliability through telemetry, SLOs, error budgets, and on-call rotations. Champion DevOps practices including CI/CD, deployment automation, and application-level operations within a lean shared service model. Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and partner with Product, Design, and Platform teams to deliver secure, observable, high-quality software that enables operational decision-grade intelligence for decarbonization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in full stack software engineering, with proven capability across both front-end and back-end development
- Solid experience with modern front-end technologies, particularly React or similar frameworks
- Strong back-end engineering experience, ideally including GoLang or comparable general-purpose programming languages
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs, services, and cloud-native applications
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, automation, and incident response
- Experience delivering secure, observable, high-quality production software
- Strong focus on code quality, automated testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and influence architectural decisions
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across Product, Design, Platform, and Engineering teams
- Ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for outcomes from design through to production
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with event-driven architectures, distributed systems, or microservices
- Experience modernizing legacy systems into modular, scalable platforms
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams
- Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to engineering standards
- Experience with AI-enabled, data-intensive, sustainability, carbon intelligence, or enterprise SaaS products
- Familiarity with observability, reliability engineering, SLOs, error budgets, and production incident management
