Job Summary
Serve as the subject matter expert in front end technologies including React and NextJs, mentoring developers on clean code methodologies through knowledge sharing and PR reviews. Work cross-functionally with Product and Design to develop and deploy applications and features on time with high quality, shaping product strategy and defining OKRs. Implement best practices to enable the team to ship quality code faster while maintaining regular communication with senior management on status and risk assessment. This role sits within the Growth Engineering team, which focuses on the customer's first impression and driving revenue through the home page experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least +5yrs of experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with NodeJS
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience designing and building cloud architecture
- Experience designing and building backends
- Experience designing and building middle ends
- Experience designing and building web apps
- Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests
- Experience implementing and maintaining e2e tests
- Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures
- Understanding of how to interact with and build backend REST APIs
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Advanced level of English
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in web development including performance (web vitals) monitoring
- Experience working with Docker
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- Experience working in CI environments
- Enjoyment of working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment
- Previous experience leading or mentoring teams
