Job Summary
Independently design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS technologies from concept through production. Break down complex customer requirements into scalable technical solutions with minimal oversight while conducting root-cause analysis and resolving integration issues. Collaborate directly with technical leads and mission stakeholders to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver features supporting critical national security programs in Herndon and Springfield, Virginia. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and five years of full-stack development experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- React and TypeScript experience
- Expert-level experience building enterprise-scale React applications using modern React patterns, hooks, context, reusable component design, routing, asynchronous data fetching, performance optimization, and TypeScript
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
- Experience implementing business logic, middleware, authentication, validation, and integrating frontend applications with backend services, enterprise workflows, and data models
- Experience managing complex application state using modern React patterns, including Context, Zustand, TanStack Query, and reducers
- Experience developing and implementing AWS-based applications or cloud solutions
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience using software development tools and methodologies
- Experience providing technical leadership for application delivery or leading at least one software development or implementation effort
- Must be willing to work in a SCIF at the AWS Herndon or Springfield customer site up to 100% of the work week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK (TypeScript)
- Experience deploying and managing AWS cloud resources, including Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, and Application Load Balancers (ALB)
- Experience developing customer-facing applications
- Ability to work directly with technical leads and customers to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver features based on operational feedback
