Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Developer will design, build, test, and deploy high-value software products on the AWS cloud for Guidehouse digital projects. The role involves collaborating with clients, digital leaders, solutions architects, and cross-functional teams to modernize systems, create innovative prototypes using cloud architectures and modern technologies, and deliver cloud-native, scalable, and secure distributed solutions. Key tech focuses include Python and JavaScript (Django, Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, SQLAlchemy; Vue.js, React, Svelte, or Angular), cloud-app development on AWS (including containerization with Docker and orchestration with EKS/Kubernetes), API-first design, microservices, REST APIs, and DevSecOps with CI/CD. The candidate should possess experience with Agile/Scaled Agile practices, be able to work autonomously, mentor teammates, and communicate design decisions effectively. Travel up to 10% is required. Educational/work eligibility requirements and security clearances noted by the posting include US citizenship or green card and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card holder
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding
- Bachelor's degree is required, or Additional 4 years experience in lieu of Degree
- Minimum of SIX (6) years of prior relevant experience in full-stack application development
- Minimum of THREE (3) years of experience with cloud applications development to build /modernize applications and datasets on the AWS cloud
- Experience and proficiency in implementing frontend and backend services for cloud-native software products and solutions such as Python, JavaScript, Django and Vue.JS
- The must-have skills include proficiency in Python and JavaScript; Django experience can be with Flask, FastAPI, Falcon, or SQLAlchemy; Vue.JS experience can be with React, Svelte, or Angular
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate, mentor, help, and support other team members
- Proven ability to develop software products and solution prototypes and use prototypes to validate technical solution strategies and communicate the pros and cons of complex design alternatives
- An in-depth understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles, with experience
- Must be an experienced Agile practitioner with proven ability to plan and implement software products with agility
