Job Summary

Develop, test, deploy, document, and support modern web applications, internal business tools, integrations, APIs, and automation solutions using Vue.js, RESTful APIs, and AWS cloud services. Build responsive front-end applications and design Retool tools for workflow automation and dashboards. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes through low-code/no-code solutions and partner with product, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software. Troubleshoot production issues and mentor junior developers within an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise-grade applications across the full technology stack
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using modern technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, React, Python, PHP, or equivalent frameworks and languages
  • Proven experience designing, developing, securing, and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
  • Strong proficiency with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB, with experience in data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Deep understanding of Git-based source control, branching strategies, code review processes, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Bedrock, API Gateway, ECS, or comparable cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles, application security, scalability, resiliency, and observability best practices
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to technical planning, estimation, and solution design
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve developer productivity, automate workflows, enhance business processes, and develop intelligent software solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently diagnose complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, operations, and business teams
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
  • Ability to balance innovation with risk management and compliance requirements within a regulated financial services environment
