Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to build agentic AI products across web, backend, and iOS; own features end-to-end from agent design and orchestration logic through React UIs and native mobile clients, and manage evaluation systems to ensure agent quality as the platform scales. Proficient across a Spring Boot service, Python agent layer, React frontend, and Swift iOS app; design and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and data models in Java and Python; lead frontend development, iOS release management, and system design for multi-tenant infrastructure; mentor junior engineers and drive engineering standards. Onsite locations in New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA with relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years building production software at scale
- Hands-on experience building real LLM and agent applications
- Direct experience with agent evaluation: building golden datasets, offline evals, scoring tool calls and trajectories
- Strong React, including state management, component design, and performance
- Strong Java with Spring Boot, plus working proficiency in Python
- iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI, including App Store release experience
- Relational database design (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD
- Experience with distributed systems, async messaging, and modern service architecture
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
